Stitch, Dublin’s new knitting and stitching shop, is a place to sit, knit and relax with a good old-fashioned cup of tea and a chat. We are two sisters Frances Dalton and Teresa McCormac, who are giving knitting a modern makeover, reviving this wonderful craft and passing our skill on to a new wave of knitters.

We learned to knit in school when we were 7 and are passionate about sharing our skill with all ages.

Our weekly knitting and crochet classes get aspiring stitchers started and encourage the more advanced to challenge themselves. See fun and events for more details.

We believe in sustainability and we believe in making it fun. We specialise in knitting with an eco-twist; tea cosies ranging from cute to vintage 1915 patterns, organic & eco-wool, animal-friendly knitting handbags & contemporary totes, needles made from sustainable forestry wood, Forestry Stewardship Council certified pattern books.
